A skull and many bones have been found
Friday, February 25, 2011
Tyler Watters may have helped Chris George dispose of Tracy Ocasio's
bones, which may have helped solve a 2-year-old mystery in Orange County. This blog is a first report about the skull that was found at the Crime Scene.
I discovered this when I overheard two deputies conversing with each other about this matter, standing about five feet away from me. They had found numerous items that pointed out someone else could have helped with the disposition. James Hataway and a helper dumped Chris George and mabe even Tracy Ocasio's body on over 30 acres of land that is near a pond. They possibly found various papers, jewerly, ids and articles of clothing that belong to Chris George .Tyler Watters was there at the crime scene numerous times with James Hataway. Tyler has refused to talk to police and has been arrested for drug trafficking. James and Tyler both have helped each other out before in other types of crimes. James helped Tyler get rid of drugs. Tyler also helped dump stuff out of the car of James Hataway at the crime scene indicating, possibly, that it was the bodies of Chris George and Tracy Ocasio.

An Apopka detective found Monday what they believe is a human bone, and investigators will spend the day looking for more clues. The detective found the bone in a swampy area off Ocoee-Apopka Road ( see map ). Investigators told WFTV it could be linked to Chris George.
George's disappearance has been connected to James Hataway who is also a suspect in the disappearance of Ocoee woman Tracy Ocasio.
Cadaver dogs and a team of investigators were out Tuesday in an all-out search for evidence. They are doing what is essentially a grid search of the area.
"Nothing that they found yet is definite, so it could go in any direction," said Rachael George, the mother of Chris George (watch interview).
Rachael showed up to watch Tuesday. Her son disappeared in February 2009; his truck was found in the search area.
Tuesday, FDLE and Apopka police came back out after the detective found what they believe is a small human bone. Initially, it was believed George, who had a history of drug use, had just walked away. But after Ocasio disappeared from Ocoee a few months later, investigators started pointing their suspicions at Hataway.
"At this time we're just trying to feverishly search this area ... and gather what ever evidence is possible," said Officer Steve Popp, Apopka Police Department (watch interview).
Hataway was last seen with Ocasio as she left the Florida Tap Room; he was also an associate of Chris George.
The search area has been searched before, but at the time it was underwater. Now, with the latest discovery and strong suspicions from police, this could be a key piece of evidence in the disappearance of Chris George.
His mother is hoping for some closure.
"I know he was involved in it. I know he knows more than he's ever revealed. His level of involvement, I'm not certain," Rachael said.
Because of the mucky, swampy conditions, investigators say this search could take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks.
Hataway remains in the Seminole County jail waiting to be tried in an attempted murder case. He is accused of trying to strangle a Casselberry woman who gave him a ride home from a party in 2008.

US park to be named in Zahra's honour

Community groups in the US state of North Carolina are dedicating a playground for children with disabilities to Australian girl Zahra Baker.
Hickory and the Kiwanis clubs of Catawba County are creating a $US85,000 ($A84,800) addition to the Kiwanis Park in Hickory with play equipment that Zahra, who lost part of a leg to bone cancer, would have been able to enjoy, the Hickory Daily Record reports.
"There's no one here that wasn't touched in some way by Zahra. We want to honour her here for special needs children," Hickory mayor Rudy Wright told the paper.
Advertisement: Story continues below Zahra, who lived in Hickory with her Australian father and American stepmother, was reported missing by her parents in October last year, and her remains were found scattered in bushland weeks later.
No one has been charged over the 10-year-old's death, but her stepmother was arrested a day after she was reported missing, accused of writing a fake ransom note, and remains in custody.
Zahra's story has made headlines around the world, as well as in her adopted home town.
"Since the passing of Zahra, I've had a number of people ask me if there was something to commemorate this young lady," Wright told the Record.
The new addition to the playground, named the Zahra Baker All Children's Playground, will include a bronze plaque saying, "Zahra, you touched us. 1999-2010", along with her photo.
Steve Aaron, president of the Western Catawba County Kiwanis Club, said the local Kiwanis clubs - which are community groups dedicated to helping children - were interested in doing something in Zahra's honour because of the impact she had on the community.
Aaron said the park would be unique because, in addition to the handicap-accessible park, wheelchairs would actually be able to get on the ramps and other equipment.
Donations will be taken through June 30 for the park. If donations surpass the $US85,000 needed for the playground, the money will be used for a scholarship in Zahra's name.
Hickory parks and recreation director Mack McLeod said he hoped work on the park would be completed by the end of July
